Upon acceptance of the quote 15% of the total quoted price is to be paid as a deposit.
Other arrangements can be made at the discretion of Abbey Road Painters.
Balance is payable on receipt of invoice.
If payment is not received within 7 days from date of invoice, Abbey Road Painters reserves the right to charge interest at 3% per month of the amount outstanding, from the invoice date until the time that payment is made.
The customer agrees that information can be released to any third party for the purpose of locating the customer’s whereabouts for the sole purpose of settling any outstanding accounts.
All costs and charges related to settling any overdue or unpaid accounts will be payable by the customer.

1.0 Terms of contact
1.1 All work performed is undertaken on the terms and conditions set out herein, and on no other terms and conditions apply unless agreed between the parties in writing.
2.0 Workmanship responsibilties
2.1 Abbey Road Painters wishes to promote and maintain the good name of Abbey Road Painters. If you do experience any problems concerning materials or workmanship you should first direct your query to your Tradesman as he is employed to perform a good quality job for you. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with the workmanship then please feel free to contact Abbey Road Painters for advice.
3.0 Payment
3.1 Payment is on invoice, unless otherwise previously arranged.

4.0 Materials warranty
4.1 Abbey Road Painters guarantees to supply only high quality materials for their customers, and subject to the special provisions set out herein, guarantees to protect the customer from any loss of adhesion of our products from the substrate through flaking, peeling for at least a period of 10 years from the date of application.
4.2 Abbey Road Painters shall replace or repair faulty materials where it is satisfied that the fault has not been caused by factors beyond its control. Such factors include surface movement, loss or adhesion of paint adjacent to cracks, movement of expansion joints, base movement, defective building structures, mechanical or physical damage or any defects or deficiencies in the surface to which it is applied.
Some examples of such failures are:
4.2a Subsequent cracking on gib – board joints or similar affecting the paint surface.
4.2b Fibrous plaster has aged and cracked.
4.2c Movement between two different surfaces, eg. scotias and the ceiling which crack and result in paint cracking.

5.0 Workmanship warranty
5.1 The Tradesman warrants that he has repaired and coated the surface in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and guarantees the job against defective workmanship for a period of 1 year, and a manufactures product guarantee of at least ten years from the date of application.
6.0 Special conditions as to warranties
6.1 All claims shall be notified to Abbey Road Painters within 3 months of the first sign of failure of materials or application.
6.2 On no account shall the liability of Abbey Road Painters exceed the value of the materials and services supplied to the customer.
6.3 On no account shall the liability of Abbey Road Painters Ltd shall exceed the price paid by the customer.
